My Data-Based Content Writing Background

Below are samples of data-based content writing I did for Expedia Group as a Content Product Producer. Using an Expedia-patented CMS, I wrote and coded copy that was displayed across 16 million paragraphs across 14 brand sites.

This data-infused content writing was a unique challenge as I had to write “around” data points. This meant the content had to be simple, non-verbose, and not hyper-specific as the data points were unknown and frequently updated.

We also had to write many versions of each sentence, broken up into fragments— each one had to fit together like puzzle pieces. This was to keep the content fresh for each “spin” of the content when the page was refreshed and new data was introduced. This challenged me to fine-tune my writing, editing and proofreading skills, and write in a more technical style.
